RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Chesterfield County authorities are investigating the deaths of two people who were found in a burning house.

Lt. Jason Elmore of the fire department says foul play is suspected. Several fires may have been intentionally set inside the structure. The bodies were found on different floors of the two-story structure.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/ZMyC6v ), the fire was reported about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Elmore says it took about 20 to 25 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Investigators remained on the scene Friday morning. Elmore said they’re trying to determine not only the cause of the fire, but the identities of the victims and the manner of their deaths. He did not say whether the victims were adults or children.
