The National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention designated the Friday before Memorial Day as "Don't Fry Day." The goal is to encourage sun safety awareness by reminding everyone to protect their skin while enjoying the outdoors. It's easy to stay safe in the sun. Just remember slip, slap, slop, and wrap. Slip on a shirt, slap on a hat, slop on some sunscreen of at least SPF 15, and wrap on your sunglasses.
