Student Athlete of the Week: Ashley DeRemer
Millbrook's Ashley DeRemer knows a little something about being a team player, as she was a cornerstone of the Pioneer's rise to success in volleyball.

DeRemer was voted captain by more than ninety percent of her team before her senior season began but during the district semi-finals against James Wood, she suffered a serious setback.
The torn ACL didn't put DeRemer's season on the shelf she did what any good captain would do, continue to lead.
DeRemer is expected to fully recover from her injury and while she will make time to perhaps play club volleyball in college she has high aspirations of becoming a pediatrician.
