Kaylin Gaal is a strong presence on the field and in the locker room for the Clarke County girls soccer team. You see her smile has just as much an impact on her teammates as her booming free kicks.
"Kaylin is the jokester, she has everybody laughing, she sings during the games, she keeps us in stitches all the time." says Clarke County head coach Laurie Harrell. "When we go to states its fun playing soccer" added Gaal, who is headed to the College of Wooster next Fall. "When we are together before, during and after games, we goof around, it's a lot of fun to be around."
Gaal has been named to the all-district, all-region, and all-state soccer team 3 years in a row. That's pretty close to perfect, as for Kaylin's GPA, it is perfect, a 4.0.
"You spend like 2 or 3 hours studying or doing homework, even in between practices and classes." says our final student athlete of the 2006-2007 school year.
