As Warren County High School steps into a new era, Wildcat athletics are looking to re-establish themselves as a Northwestern District power. During the fall, winter, and spring Sean Hoisington is doing more than his part to help Warren County reach that goal. "Its a little tough at first getting into a routine. Just trying to balance homework, studying, and trying to keep my grades up, having honors classes, AP classes. But once I get into a routine it really just comes natural to me" says Hoisington, who plays football, baseball and wrestles.

On a wrestling squad competing in one of the toughest districts in the state, Hoisington is amongst Warren County's most reliable grapplers, setting a great example for all of his younger teammates. "He will grab a younger kid once and a while, show him this move or show him that, and you know, they look up to him. You know, when he's out there on the mat, all the kids are watching him. And you know, he sets that tone for us." Says Matt Wadas, Sean's Wrestling Coach. "When you're in practice helping others, you're making them look good. And then you can say, hey that's my drill partner who just won. Your'e not only hurting yourself if you don't drill hard, you're also hurting the team." says Sean.

Never one to step down from a challenge, Sean is pushing himself especially hard this year. Taking the most difficult classes possible, all the while remaining a three sport star. "He could have taken the regular classes, the bare minimum. But he didn't, he took the honor classes, he took the AP. And he tried to go to the next level and to be successful as a school we need that." says Wadas.
