If there's anybody who knows a thing or two about championships it's Clarke County High School's Joey Racer... The Senior is best known for his exploits on the basketball court, where he won a state title this past spring. But Joey is just as good in the classroom as he is out on the floor. "I don't like down time, I've been busy all my life" says Joey, who holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. "I play three or four sports and just find time to do it all."

Racer is the quintessential leader, setting the bar high both academically and athletically. But he doesn't just lead by example... when the time is right, Joey WILL get vocal.
"He'll get to a point where he's had enough and he'll let the guys have it." says Clarke County head coach Brent Emmart. "He'll get on people when he has to and he'll pat people on the back when he has to."
