Emily Crider joined TV3 Winchester as a reporter in November, 2006. Emily grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Ephrata Senior High School, she attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. She majored in Political Science and minored in Journalism, Speech Communication, and Spanish. Emily earned her master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism at Syracuse University in 2006. Most recently she was the Washington D.C. reporter for the ABC affiliate WJET-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania. Throughout high school and college, Emily played varsity basketball. During her years at Randolph-Macon, her team won two ODAC championships and played in the 2005 NCAA Division III National Championship game.
    In her spare time Emily enjoys working out and watching all kinds of sports. She attends World Harvest Outreach in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and helps out as a youth leader. Emily is excited to be back in Virginia and to be reporting in Winchester and the Shenandoah Valley.
