One man is dead and another is in the hospital following a head-on collision between two motorcycles in Page County. The crash happened along Route 211 about one mile west of Jewell Hollow Road.
Virginia State Police say 53-year old Darrel Ray Kendrick, of Newport News, lost control of his motorcycle and collided into another motorcycle.
Police say Kendrick was traveling east when his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle lost control on a curve and crossed the center line, colliding with a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Jaime Right.
Kendrick died on the scene. Right, a resident of Stafford, was taken to Page Memorial Hospital. His condition is unknown.
The crash remains under investigation.
