Authorities say a northeastern North Carolina woman is being held without bail in the death of her husband.
Deputies in Currituck County tell "The Virginian-Pilot" of Norfolk, Virginia that 38-year-old bodybuilder Lateisha Jandreau was arrested Saturday by officers who found 51-year-old Paul Jandreau's body in the couple's garage.
Mike Jandreau says his brother told him he was having problems with his wife, but wasn't scared. The two had been married for about eight years after meeting in a kickboxing class and Lateisha Jandreau won a state bodybuilding championship last month.
Jandreau is charged with first degree murder and is being held at the county jail.
The county is located on the northeast coast between Kitty Hawk, North Carolina and Chesapeake, Virginia.
