A fourth-quarter field goal proved to be the difference as the Bridgewater Eagles outlasted Shenandoah 17-14 in the Hornets first ever game as a member of the ODAC.
Corey Taylor started at quarterback for SU, throwing for 125 yards and rushing for two scores.
The Hornets have the week off before returning to the field for the Homecoming game October 6 against Guilford.
