Lloyd came in to replace Phil Gardner in last week's season opening win at Stevenson.

Lloyd threw one touchdown and did not turn the ball over, leading the Hornets to a win against the Mustangs.

A 23-year old senior, Lloyd sat out last year before being asked by the SU coaching staff to come out for the team this year.

Lloyd began his college career at Ferrum, playing his freshman season with the Panthers before transferring to Shenandoah.
