James Wood put an end to Skyline's two-game win streak in both team's district opener Tuesday evening.
The Colonels won 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.
They have now won three straight and are 6-1 on the season, while the Hawks fall to 5-2.
Skyline is back in action Thursday at Brentsville and James Wood also plays Thursday at Musselman.
