Washington is on the New England Patriots 53 man opening day roster and is listed 3rd on the depth chart at the number two receiver position. Washington signed a 5 year deal with New England earlier this off-season after spending his first 4 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. Washington will be joined in the NFL by former Handley High School star Lang Campbell. On Sunday the Arizona Cardinals signed Campbell to a 1-year contract before placing the William and Mary grad on the practice squad. Campbell is expected to be Arizona's third quarterback behind Matt Leinart and Kurt Warner.
New England opens the season Sunday September 9th
against the New York Jets.
Arizona kicks off the season Monday night September 10th versus the San Francisco 49ers.
