In Front Royal, the Randolph Macon Academy Yellow Jackets are looking to bounce back from a 1-9 campaign in 2006. The Jackets, who play in the Delaney Athletic Conference, are led by Frank Sullivan... their 3rd head coach in as many years. "We are trying to put them in the best positions to be successful on Saturday afternoons" noted Sullivan. "We are going to put in as much of our offense as possible all the while looking to put them in positions to be successful."
After an intense camp, the Jackets are now gearing up for their season opener at in-county rival Skyline on Saturday September 1st. Despite all the coaching overhauls, the Yellow Jackets players remain upbeat, "I've been on some other teams in the past" said senior fullback Michael Deignan. "this is by far the most fun I've had, we are pretty much brothers out here."
