The Millbrook Boys Basketball team not only won a state title Saturday night, they also got revenge.
By beating Brunswick High School 53-43, coach Scott Mankins squad avenged a quarterfinal loss to the Bulldogs in last years State tournament, and brought home the first state hoops title in school history. Erick Green finished with 18 points on 7 of 12 shooting, while Clayton Rodney added 16 points and 5 boards. Millbrook held Brunswick to 29% shooting from the field and pulled away during 13-3 run to start the fourth quarter. The Pioneers finished the year with a 29-1 record.
