The Shenandoah University baseball team continues to build on their recent success and they are hoping 2008 will be an extension of their accomplishments last season. In 2007 the Hornets Won 27 games and had a shot at the regular season title. Now that's a far cry from where they were five years ago. In 2002 and 2003 they won a combined 22 games, but a lot has changed since then. "I think when we were talking about going to regionals and getting this program to a national level of respect, it was probably a dream at the beginning when we came. Now its a goal and we have legitimate expectations. Therefore we've been able to attract that caliber of player." says Hornet Head Coach Kevin Anderson.
