A week after receiving the schools first ever votes in the d3hoops.com top 25 national poll, the Shenandoah Men's Basketball team took a huge step towards making the programs first appearance in the prestigious poll. SU topped 7th ranked Guilford College 64-62 Monday night at Shingleton Gymnasium in Winchester. Jeremiah Lawrence led the way for the Hornets with 18 points and Stevie Johns chipped in 13 as Shenandoah improved to 9-2 overall. The win marks the first ever for coach Rob Harris over a nationally ranked squad. Shenandoah will next play Randolph College on January 2nd.
