The Sherando Warriors and Millbrook Pioneers entered Friday night with hopes of leaving it as Region Champions. Only Sherando can make that claim after a night of high scoring football. The Warriors used a big 1st half and never looked back in a 38-0 rout of visiting Park View in the Region II Division 4 title game. Sherando's Markeith Brisco went over 200 yards rushing on an evening where nothing could stop the Black and Red's potent attack, and a Park View offense that came in with a lot of hype left without any points to their credit. The Warriors are now 12-0 on the year. Sherando's Frederick County counterpart Millbrook wasn't as successful in their quest for some hardware. The Pioneers ran into a Monticello team that was intent on keeping their perfect season intact and did so with a sound 56-34 win. Millbrook's Andrew Oates threw for 4 touchdowns in the loss... the Pioneers end the year with a 9-3 mark.
