The Wildcats were a runner-up in a challenge issued by Atogwe to honor the football team with the highest grade point average for the fall semester.
Warren County's team came in second place in the entire Washington DC-metro area and earned the $5,000 runner-up prize.
Calvin Coolidge High School in Washington DC won first place and the remaining $10,000 offered by Atogwe and his charity, the I Am Foundation.
The grant can be used for purchases by the football program including uniforms, equipment, field repairs, etc.
