Bolden Signs Letter of Intent to Play Football at Toledo
Updated: 02/06/2013 - Millbrook senior AJ Bolden signed a national letter of intent to play football at the University of Toledo Wednesday.
The Hawks were a win short of a playoff berth last season, ending the year with a 4-6 record.
Skyline, however, did claim a share of the Northwestern District regular season title. The Hawks were 3-1 with their only district loss coming against Handley.
The Hawks bring back plenty of talent at the skill positions and the offensive and defensive lines.
Aaron Jeremiah is under center for his second full year in the Hawks' read option offense.
Head Coach Heath Gilbert says the key to success on offense is getting the ball in the hands of his speedy athletes.
The defense will be led by linebacker Zach Blair who has bulked up from 170 pounds to 205 pounds during the off-season.
As is the case every year, the Hawks are most anticipating their rematch with cross-town rival, Warren County.
A 13-12 loss in last year's season finale against the Wildcats cost the Hawks' a spot in the playoffs.
