Bolden Signs Letter of Intent to Play Football at Toledo
Updated: 02/06/2013 - Millbrook senior AJ Bolden signed a national letter of intent to play football at the University of Toledo Wednesday.
According to the Washington Post, Metheny will transfer to South Alabama.
The Jaguars are an FCS program and Metheny can play immediately without having to sit out.
Metheny will graduate this summer from UVA and pursue a graduate degree at South Alabama.
The Jaguars play in the Sun Belt Conference and are in the process of moving up to FBS.
Metheny competed last summer for the starting job but lost out to fellow sophomore Michael Rocco.
Metheny played in two games in 2011 and five games in 2010.
His career stats are UVA were 15-19, 207 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
