Edith Davenport Foley, 98, of Berryville, Virginia died Saturday, August 11, 2012 in a local nursing home.
Ms. Foley was born February 26, 1914 in Berryville, Virginia, the daughter of Clinton Kyle and Effie Hardesty Foley.
She was retired from Coiners Department Store.
She was a member of Berryville Baptist Church.
Surviving is a brother, Warden Foley and his wife, Harriett of Alexandria, VA; two nieces; and five nephews.
Sisters, Martha Jane Bowerman and Elsie Kyle Baird preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Dan Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Hobert, Walter Rutherford, David Bowerman, Jeff Bowerman, Jack Hardesty and Bill Bowerman.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A. M. – 12:00 Noon prior to the service at the funeral home.
