Teffi Alicia Gochenour, 40, of Winchester, died Friday, July 6, 2012 in Augusta County, VA.
She was born November 7, 1971 in Winchester, the daughter of Robert C. and Jacqueline Oates Gochenour.
Miss Gochenour was a John Handley High School graduate and attended DeVry University in Arizona. She was a former volunteer with the Clear Brook Fire and Rescue. Teffi expressed herself through her art and love of music, she loved babies of any age and horses of any size. Teffi had a smile that touched everyone.
Surviving are her parents of Statesville, NC; a brother, Jeffrey Ray Gochenour of Winchester; her paternal grandmother, Opal Hott Burdette of Statesville; her maternal grandmother, Alice McFarland Oates of Statesville and many extended family members and special friends.
A memorial service will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in Winchester Church of God, 2080 N. Frederick Pike, Winchester with Pastor Darrell Waller officiating.
Friends will be received until 9:00 p.m. following the service. Memorials may be made to the SPCA, 115 Featherbed Lane, Winchester, VA 22601 or to a favorite children’s charity.
