Howard “Pete” Kerfoot Crim, Jr., 83, of Berryville, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Crim was born February 14, 1929 in Berryville, Virginia, the son of Howard Kerfoot Crim, Sr. and Ada Lake Crim. He was a dairy farmer for 50 years and was a member of Land O’Lakes Co-op. After retiring in 2003 he started gardening as a hobby which he like very much. He was a Charter member of Berryville Moose Lodge #2139 and a member of the Brunswick Fraternal Order of Eagles #1136. Surviving with his wife, Nettie Mae Crim is a son, Howard “Buddy” K. Crim III and his wife, Sheryl Faye of Wadesville, VA; six sisters, Elizabeth Dent of Mechanicsville, VA, Louise McGuinn of High View, WV, Genevieve Yowell of Fredericksburg, VA, Mildred Littleton of Bluemont, VA, Helen Keither of Reston, VA and Gladys Willis of Front Royal, VA; a brother, Robert L. Crim of Berryville, VA; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Monday, July 9, 2012 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Lay Minister Alanna McGuinn officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Wayne Crim, Gary Crim, Dana Crim, Mark Crim, Keith Crim and Randy Littleton. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Huff, Russ Heikes, Mike Linster, Robert Crim and Warren Long.
