| Jesse Lee Foster, Sr., 75, of Sperryville, died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Mont View Nursing Home in Luray. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Pastor John Burke. Burial will follow in Washington Masonic Cemetery in Washington, VA. Mr. Foster was born September 17, 1934, in Front Royal, son of the late Harry and Doris Smoot Foster. He was a member of Gid Brown Baptist Church in Rappahannock. Surviving are two sons Jesse Foster and Silas Foster; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother Downey Foster. He was preceded in death by his wife Callie Virginia Clatterbuck Foster and youngest son Edward McKinley Foster. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. | |
