David Kenneth Duffy, 68, of Winchester, Virginia, died June 1, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Duffy was born December 24, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Kenneth Gordon Duffy and Clara Bunstein Duffy. He retired from the U. S. Coast Guard and retired from Christian Embassy. He was the founder and administrator of Faith Christian School for 17 years. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and the Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association. Surviving with his wife of 46 years, Donna K. Duffy, are two sons, Patrick David Duffy of South East Asia and Michael Edward Duffy of Winchester, VA; two sisters, Clara Marie Brown of St. Charles, MO and Dorothy Lane of Sugar Land, TX; and ten grandchildren, Mikayla, Madelyn, Brienzi, Aidan, Josiah, Delaney, Jacob, Ethan, Judah, and Juliana. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Fellowship Bible Church in Winchester with Rev. Mark Carey officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P. M. prior to the service at the church.
