Arthur “Abe” Alexander Breeden, 79, of Berryville, Virginia, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Breeden was born June 25, 1932 in Berryville, Virginia, the son of the late Curtis Breeden and Velvie Unger Breeden. He retired from Allied Tank Farm at Dulles Airport. He was a member of Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church where he had served as a trustee. He was a member of the Izaak Walton League and a Little League Football Coach. He was an avid Redskins fan. Surviving with his wife of 59 years, Marguerite Breeden, are two daughters, Stephanie Tomblin and her husband, Mickey, of Boyce, VA and Rev. Theresa Hoffman of Madison County, VA; two grandchildren, Bryan Tomblin of Ashburn, VA and Megan Hoffman of Cross Junction, VA; and a sister, Charlotte Lahman of Winchester, VA. Two brothers, Floyd Breeden and Colin Breeden, preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Kenneth Patrick and Rev. Kathy Work officiating. Burial will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Tomblin, Nicholas “Nick” Smart, Michael “Mickey” Jones, Charlotte Lahman, Jay Lahman, Megan Hoffman, Tony Roper, and Mickey Tomblin.
