State Police say 22-year-old Laura Margaret Ruscito died at the scene of a crash in Frederick County Tuesday night.

The Stephens City resident was the passenger of a car.

Troopers say the crash happened just before 9 o'clock.

They say 24-year-old Todd Michael Riley of Stephens City was driving southbound on Springdale Road when he lost control of his car crossing over into oncoming traffic.

State Police say he hit an SUV travelling northbound on Springdale Road.

Riley was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the SUV, 29-year-old Nathan Manuel of Front Royal, and the passenger Sabrina Lyn See, 34, of Middletown were also taken to Winchester Medical Center.

All of the people involved in the crash were wearing their seatbelts. The accident remains under investigation.
