Frederick County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a stabbing that happened Tuesday morning.

Deputies say just before 1 a.m. they responded to an incident in the 100 block of Cougar Trail.

They say a man was visiting his wife at the house when they got into a domestic fight.

They say the man assaulted a couple of people at the home.

According to deputies, one of the home owners stabbed the man in the stomach.

He was taken to Winchester Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

The incident is under investigation. No arrests have been made. The man who was stabbed is in his thirties and is from Capon Bridge, WV.
