Dr. Rick Leonard will be the superintendent of Winchester Public Schools for the next four years.

On Friday June 15, the Winchester Public School Board announced Leonard's new contract. This contract begins July 1, 2012 and goes through June 30, 2016.

Leonard was appointed superintendent in Winchester during the summer of 2009. Prior to that, he spent nine years as the division assistant superintendent. Leonard also was a teacher, coach, assistant principal and principal of John Handley High School.
