Giant and Martin's food markets are pulling another product from their shelves and they're asking you to check your selves too.

Manufacturers issued a voluntary recall for a flavor enhancer found in many processed foods.

It's called Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, or HVP.

The recall is for possible salmonella contamination. Only HVP from Basic Food Flavors, Inc is associated with this recall.

If you have an affected product, officials say throw it away and bring your receipt to the store for a refund.

I wonder how many people they think saves their grocery receipt for more than a day?? Why not take the product back?
