The Winchester Storm is set to join the Eastern Basketball Alliance semi-professional basketball league this coming November.

They will hit the ground running with tryouts scheduled to be held August 14th and August 28th at Admiral Byrd Middle School.

General Manager and Winchester native Norman Blowe is very confident he can build a talented and competitive squad.

The Storm, as well as every other team in the EBA has the option to play their players. Blowe has not decided whether or not that will be a possibility. Right now, he is asking for the community to step up and help with sponsorships and to show their support.

The season will run from early November until March.
