Winchester Gators Host Annual USA Long Course Invitational

The Winchester Gators youth swim team hosted nearly 500 swimmers for a meet at Jim Barnett Park this weekend.

The swimmers came from Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

85 Winchester Gators took part in the event, which has been hosted at Jim Barnett Park's outdoor pool for more than 25 years straight.

The event's start was delayed on Friday due to weather, but has picked up Saturday and goes through Sunday evening.
