Sherando Baseball Loses To Monticello in Region Quarterfinal

The Warriors lost to the visiting Mustangs, 2-1.

Sherando took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a run-scoring ground out by Jacob Carney.

Monticello answered in the top of the second, scoring their first run of the game on a wild pitch by Sherando pitcher Darrell Thompson.

Monticello also scored their go-ahead run on a wild pitch by Thompson. The second run came in the fifth inning.
