Sherando Baseball Clinches District Title With Win Over Millbrook

The Warriors beat the Pioneers, 4-3.

Sherando clinch the Northwestern District regular season title with the win. They hold a two game lead over Millbrook in the district with two games to go (and hold the tie-breaker over the Pioneers).

Sherando sophomore catcher Chase Smallwood hit a go-ahead two-out, two-run single in the fifth inning to give the Warriors the lead for good.

Sherando pitcher Darryl Thompson pitched six innings to earn the win. Tre Porter tossed a perfect seventh to pick up the save.
