Guyant Holloway Resigns as SU Women's Basketball Head Coach
Guyant-Holloway cited family reasons for her resignation.
The Wisconsin native is planning to move back home with her husband to be closer to family; a decision she said she's been mulling over for a few years.
In her six years leading the Hornets, Guyant-Holloway compiled a 78-77 career record.
Her best year was her first, 2006, in which her team posted a 16-9 record.
SU was 9-17 this past winter.
The school will begin a nationwide search for Guyant-Holloway's successor Wednesday and hopes to have a new head coach in place by the end of August.
