Bring your family, your water shoes and prepare to get your feet wet enjoying a summer afternoon in the great outdoors paddling the Legendary Shenandoah River.
The Shenandoah Riverkeeper is partnering with the Raymond “R” Andy Guest/Shenandoah River State Park and the Friends of Shenandoah River State Park to bring you the Shenandoah Riverfest, Saturday, August 11, 2012, 10am – 4pm. Riverfest is a day of unforgettable fun along the banks of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River at the Raymond R, “Andy” Guest State Park.
Riverfest is a rain or shine daytime event that is open to the public and is designed to connect people to the Shenandoah River. Special Event Admission & Parking for the event is $8/per vehicle, unlimited passengers. Once in the park all activities are free. Entrants are also given a free trial membership to the Shenandoah Riverkeeper and entry for a chance to win a kayak.
