A former Mary Baldwin professor has been charged with possessing child pornography after a student allegedly saw images on his college computer.
Chadwick Blackwell was indicted this week on 26 counts by a Staunton grand jury.
Crista Cabe, Mary Baldwin's associate vice president of communications, marketing and public affairs, said Blackwell resigned his job as an assistant psychology professor earlier this month.
Cabe said the college notified authorities in October and suspended Blackwell after a student reported seeing images on Blackwell's college computer.
