A Waynesboro grand jury has returned six additional felony indictments against a man charged in a string of shootings along Interstate 64.
Slade Allen Woodson of Afton was indicted Monday on two counts of shooting into an occupied building, three counts of maliciously shooting from an automobile and one count of destruction of property.
The 19-year-old already faces 19 felony counts in Albemarle County and Waynesboro related to the March 27 shootings, in which five cars traveling on the interstate were shot into, slightly injuring two people. Other vehicles and buildings also were shot.
Sixteen-year-old Brandon Dawson of Crozet pleaded guilty to five of the 15 counts against him related to the shootings in an Albemarle court last week. He also faces charges in Waynesboro.
