A federal grand jury in Charlottesville has returned a 13-count indictment against a Warren County man charged with being involving in a multi-state child pornography ring.
According to the indictment, 34-year-old Michael Wayne Anderson and others produced child pornography showing themselves engaged in illegal sexual activity with minors and shared the images live over the Internet. The group also used instant messaging, video messaging, text messaging and video chat software to share their sexual interests in children between 2005 and 2007.
If convicted on all counts, Anderson faces life in prison and a $3 million fine.
Federal prosecutors did not name the others involved or say where they lived.
