A Winchester man is facing charges after flipping his car 12 times Monday morning.

Frederick County Sheriff's Deputies say the crash happened at 10:04 a.m.

Deputies say Matthew David Bassford was traveling northwest on Back Mountain Road when witnesses say he ran off the road several times. They also say he was speeding.

Near 2366 Back Mountain Road, Bassford hit concrete cylinders and went through fencing.

He was ejected from his car and taken to Winchester Medical Center.

Deputies believe Bassford was being treated and released from the hospital.

He has been charged with driving under the influence.

They say he wasn't wearing his seatbelt.
