Winchester Police Investigating Armed Robbery

The Winchester Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened on January 5, 2013.

At 10:10 a.m. officers were called to Approved Cash Advance at 726 Berryville Avenue. Two males between the ages of 20 and 30 came into the store and demanded money. They left the business and were last seen heading westbound on foot. An unknown amount of cash was taken.

The males are described as being around 6’ tall and had on dark clothing, dark gloves, and ski masks. A gun was shown during the robbery.
