Virginia State Police confirm a 29-year-old man from Winchester was killed in an accident Wednesday night.
It happened on North Pifer Road after midnight.
Justin Robert Latta was heading north on Pifer when he hit a left-hand curve and went off the right side of the road.
From there, his pickup struck a tree. He died at the scene because of his injuries. He wasn't wearing a seat belt
State troopers say speed on the snowy roads was a factor in the crash.
