Fire teams continue the fight against the forest fire raging in Warren County.
More than 100 people are now involved in the fight against a blaze that now covers more than 180 acres. The fire is only five percent contained and is burning with flames of two to three feet in the leaf litter and ten to fifteen feet in the taller trees.
According to the Forest Service, firefighters will continue building control lines around the fire and conduct "burnout" operations to strengthen those lines. A helicopter continues dumping water on the northern portion of the fire to slow the spread of the flames.
The Forest Service says their is a high potential for growth because of the terrain, dry fuel and weather conditions.
