Valentine's Day means love for you, but for many businesses, the day is all about money.
Candy, flowers, and cards are big gifts for the special holiday.
There are more than 16,000 florists nationwide.
Those businesses led to more than $350 million made in fresh cut roses in 2011.
One store manager says he's noticed a trend in certain gifts.
"There's a lot of like electronics items that people are giving for Valentine's day, but it is primarily the traditional gifts of cards, flowers, chocolates," said Jeb Pinkerton.
Jewelry stores are a big profit during this time as well.
In February 2012, these stores sold over $2 billion in merchandise in the country.
