UPDATE: Driver of Fatal Tractor Trailer Accident Identified
State Police have identified the driver of a fatal tractor trailer accident that happened Monday on Interstate 66 in Warren County.

State Police have identified the driver of a fatal tractor trailer accident that happened Monday on Interstate 66 in Warren County.
They say 39-year-old Mark Sheridan Flinn of Moorefield, West Virginia died at the scene.
State Police say a tractor trailer was merging onto Interstate 66 from exit six and was trying to pick up speed when the logging truck Flinn was driving, hit it from behind.
The logging truck went over the bank, overturned, and caught on fire.
Troopers say witnesses tell them it didn't appear the driver ever hit the brakes and they believe he didn't know how fast the other truck was going.
Flinn died at the scene.
The driver of the other tractor trailer was not taken to the hospital. A passenger in that trailer was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
The accident happened at 11:45 Monday morning. The left lane reopened around 3 p.m. and all lanes reopened at 6 p.m.

UPDATE: State Police dispatchers have confirmed that the accident involves a fatality.
State Police say two tractor trailers are involved in the crash.
It is not known how long the road will be blocked. There is a detour in place at mile marker 6 onto Route 522.

A tractor trailer fire is causing backups Monday afternoon on Interstate 66 in Warren County.
The tractor trailer is in the westbound lane of I-66 at mile marker 6 (Front Royal).
Both westbound lanes are closed.
According to 511va.org, the fire was the result of an accident.
Flames and heavy smoke could be seen from the traffic cameras on tv3winchester.com.

As of heard one of the men that was driving has been pronouced dead,AKA A (Proidy 4) over the scanner I heard it,Its sad because they didnt know what could have happend to one of them escpeacially when they dont see their family as much, I hope this family can get through this, God Bless them.
