You might usually start your morning with some fresh fruit in your yogurt or some onions and peppers in an omelet.
We're supposed to eat at least five servings a day of them.
Dietitians at Valley Health say that the fresher the food, the healthier it is.
They say a great way to find fresh food is to buy local.
"It's still a really good idea to try to purchase local because our local farmers don't have the equipment that industrial farmers use so even local fruits and vegetables are going to have less pesticides than what you buy in the produce section of your grocery store," said Registered Dietitian, Susan Lessar.
And if you buy in season, your food will be much fresher than out of season.
Many farmers' markets stay set up all year long, outdoors and indoors.
If you don't have time to get to one, some grocery stores even carry local produce.
