If you live in the Stonewall district of Frederick County and want to make important decisions regarding Frederick County Public Schools, then there's still time to apply for a vacant board seat.
The Stonewall District seat became vacant when board member Jim Harmon passed away February 4th. If you want to fill that seat, a letter of interest and resume must be received in the clerk's office no later than noon on Friday, February 22.
The appointed person will serve through December 31 of this year, and if reelected, through December of 2017.
