One million shoes...that's how many shoes "The Little Gym" in Winchester is trying to collect.
"The Little Gym" is a physical development center for kids as young as four months. Right now, they're collecting shoes for a program called "Big Hearts, Little Shoes." The shoes go to kids across the country and world. The Royal Family Bowling Alley in Front Royal has already donated more than a 100 pairs of old bowling shoes.
"Soles for Souls is actually one of the three dimensional learning that we have going on at the gym is one of the parts is called Citizen Kid, which is basically making children better citizens," said Owner of "The Little Gym" Heather Kidwell.
They're collecting gently used and new shoes and even if the shoe lost it's match , you can still donate it! "The Little Gym" will be collecting shoes throughout this fall.
