Sandy Will Continue To Bring Strong Winds and Rain to the Area Overnight

The Northern Valley is currently in the thick of Hurricane Sandy. Winds are gusting over 50mph in many locations with heavy rain falling. The heavy rain will continue until 2am Tuesday morning with many areas ending up with more than 5 inches. The winds, sustained between 30-50mph with gusts over 60mph, can be expected until 2am Tuesday morning as well. By the afternoon on Tuesday, rain should be light and scattered and winds should diminish to less than 20mph at that time.
